"Lovina L Tope-Pence, daughter of Jackson and Mary Pence was born inChampaign county O., Jan. 5, l852. At the age of five years she movedto Van Wert county, 0., with her parents In 1876 she was united inmarriage to Geo. Tope and moved to Paulding county, 0. Four childrenwere born to this union-- Fern D. Grabill, Ind., Nora V. Phillips ofLatty, O., Jessie A. Foreman of Payne, O., and Mary M. Zent ofHuntington, Ind. Four years ago she moved to Huntington Ind., to livewith her daughter Mary M. Zent, until her death Jan. 4 1915. She wasaged 63 years 11 months and 29 days. Her husband preceded her in death 16years ago.
"The remains were brought here and removed by Undertaker Croy to thehome of her daughter Mrs. Harry Foreman.
[The]"deceased was a member of the United Brethren church atHuntington, Ind. Besides her children she is survived by four sistersand two brothers--Mahala Pence of Columbus City Ind., Amanda Brown ofHuntington, Ind., Emma Rider of Whittier, Cal., Elmer Pence of Wren, O.,Ethleen E. Young and Chas. Pence of Huntington, Ind., nine grandchildrenand a host of relatives and friends.
"The funeral was conducted from St. Paul's church last Thursdayafternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was made in St. Paul's cemetery.
Mrs. Tope was well known in Payne and vicinity and her many friendsextend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family."

Know all Men by these presents: That we The Board of Trustees of St.Pauls union Cemetery of Paulding County, Ohio in consideration of TenDollars ($10.00) to us in hand paid by Lovina Tope do hereby grantbargain sell and convey to the said Lovina Tope her heirs and assignsforever, the following described Real Estate, situate in the Township ofPaulding in the County of Paulding and State of Ohio and known as
Lot number Eighteen (18) in the new Plat (1st addition) of St. Paulsunion Cemetery and all the estate, right, title and interest of the saidgrantors in and to said premises;
To have and to hold the same with all the privileges and ----- to saidgrantor her heirs and assigns forever. and that they will defend the sameagainst all lawful claims of all persons whomsoever;
