Riddle, Jonathan M. {I0922} (b. 1827, d. ?)
Note: Jonathan M. Riddle was enlisted in the Confederate Army Co. E, Morgan's Reg't, Captain Alfred Johnson's Spy Co. Texas Calvary during the Civil War. He was captured January 11, 1863 in Arkansas while serving at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant Spies, Texas Rangers and was sent to City Point , Maryland for exchange April 29, 1863.
Jonathan's marriage to Jane makes a connection between two different Riddle lines because Jane was the granddaughter of Randolph Riddle and John was the gggrandson of William Julius Riddle. Could this mean there is an earlier connection between the William Julius Riddle line and the Randolph, Tyre, John Riddle line??
